Luke 2:10 “And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. “

Ultimately, the news proclaimed on the day of Jesus’ birth some 2000 years ago is the same news still being proclaimed today as each and every believer steps out in faith and shares their testimony. Jesus has come. My life has been changed and I will never be the same. That is the message. It is a message of hope. It is, according to the angel who first delivered it, a message of joy…great joy…that will be for all people. It is not intended to exclude anyone. For that reason you should never limit those whom you are willing to share with to those you know or feel comfortable with. God may one day ask you to share your story with a complete stranger. You must mentally prepare yourself for that eventuality. Think of it this way: who wouldn’t want to be the one to bring ‘good news’ to someone? Remember, your story has the potential to bring great joy into anyone’s life! What have you then to fear? Like the angel said: ‘Fear not.” You might just be the only opportunity that person has to get to know Christ. And how will you feel when you finally see them together with you in glory?!

Pray: “Holy Lord, help me to think of my story as “good news” so that I will never hesitate to share it with anyone. I may not always feel comfortable sharing with someone I don’t know but I know the Holy Spirit can and will help me in those times. You have brought such joy to my life, Father. Thank you for giving me the privilege of helping you bring that joy to others. Let it begin today and let it begin with me. In my blessed brother’s glorious name I ask – Amen.”
