Hebrews 12:28 “Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe…”

Man’s faith can be shaken. Human kind is constantly being bombarded by the devil’s ‘doubt weapon’. He has people doubting everything from God’s miracles, God’s power, the truth of God’s word, and even their own creation! No attempt by man, science or our adversary can do anything to - in any way - diminish the glory and majesty of our Father’s kingdom. All of our doubts combined could not stir a wind across the plains of heaven while a mere whisper of God’s voice is enough to set thunder rolling and mountains trembling. Every enemy of the cross, be they academic, political or fanatical, can do nothing to cast even a shadow on the glorious light of God’s presence. God’s plans will come to pass though the very gates of hell try and stand against them! Such should be our confidence in the delivering grace and matchless power of our God that when we come before him, be it alone in our prayer closet or together in corporate worship, it is with complete reverence and a sense of overwhelming awe. So let our steps be steady and our voices raised in a song of thanksgiving as we come before the throne of our Father God!

Pray: “Heavenly Father, it is easy to forget that the snares, traps and saber-rattling of our common enemy is all directed at us and does not touch the doorsteps of heaven. He has been cast from that holy place and nothing done here among your creation can do anything to dim your glory. I am grateful, Lord, that the kingdom you have promised I will one day inherit with my Lord and Savior is a kingdom immovable and unconquerable. Praise be to your name and the name of your son in whose name I offer myself with joy - Amen.”
