Psalm 18:25-26 “To the faithful you show yourself faithful; to those with integrity you show integrity. To the pure you show yourself pure, but to the wicked you show yourself hostile.”

Luke 6:37-38 “Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven; give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into you lap. For with the measure you use it will be measure back to you.”
It is so important in every area of life to give God credit. We can do nothing of our own but with the help and blessing of God we are able to do and accomplish much. As we start to demonstrate the characteristics of our Heavenly Father, he shows himself to be all that we are trying to be. As we show faithfulness, we see his great faithfulness. As we show mercy towards others, we see God’s great mercy reflected in our life. God wants us to reflect all that he is. Since God has forgiven us he expects us to forgive others. As we give, we find that blessings are poured out in abundance because we can’t out give God. Remember there is no “dark” side to God. When we are acting outside of his command to “love one another”, we will find none of God’s grace abounding in our life. God reveals himself to us to show us why he is worthy to be praised. As we become more like our Savior Jesus, we will see all that God is so that we might give glory for what he has done in us. Give him the credit!

Pray: “Lord God, I give you all the praise and glory for my life. All that is good is from you. All that is less than perfect is for you to show your great power to deliver and bless me. I want to reflect all that you are in my life, Lord. Help me to show mercy, kindness, forgiveness, integrity, and faithfulness. Remind me, Lord, that you are good in all things. And anything that is good in me is a reflection of who you are and what you have done. In the majesty of Jesus’ name I pray - Amen.”
