Psalm 91:11 “For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.”

Hebrews 13:2 “Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.”

Angels. The Bible is full of their stories and countless people even today recount encounters with these celestial beings. We know that from the beginning these spiritual beings were created to serve God and that they constantly surround his throne singing praises to him. We know that angels, such as the archangel Michael, are great warriors for they have fought battles against those who rebelled and cast them from heaven. We know God has used angels to deliver important messages to people, such as Gabriel did when he told Mary that she would carry God’s only son. Angels have been sent to protect God’s people countless times in scripture. Angels comfort the suffering of others such as those who ministered to Jesus after his 40 day fast in the desert or following his terrible agony in the Garden of Gethsemane. Angels announce great events such as they did on the day Christ was born. Angels also will trumpet God’s judgments and carry out his commands in a terrible way in the book of Revelations. God has promised they will guard us in all our ways. They will fight on our behalf, comfort us, and bring answers from the father. He has promised.

Pray: “Lord God, I do believe your angels are here among us. I understand that you have sent them to watch over us. Thank you, Father, for taking such good care of me. Help me to trust in this divine intervention. If your son Jesus had need of them, so do I. In Jesus holy name I thank you, Lord - Amen.”
