Worship Ministry


 

WORSHIP ::

God created us to worship Him. Whether we realize it or not, we are to honor Him in everything we do. And when we - in all we do - give Him the glory, that's worship!

At Praise, we are always honoring God through various forms of worship. We like to use a wide range of music; from your favorite secular artist (past and present) to today's progressive worship artist like Hillsong United, Chris Tomlin, Fee, Desperation Band, Matt Redmon, David Crowder Band, Gateway Worship among many others.

To accomplish diversity and musical excellence, we are always looking for vocalists, musicians and technicians to be a part of our growing worship family.

MULTIMEDIA ::

We are a generation that probably spent way too much time watching television and movies. The truth is, video has become a significant way in which we learn and experience new ideas. Praise uses video in its services to make a point or to enhance a presentation. Whether it is a clip from a movie, an original music video, or computer-generated graphics, our multimedia teams will produce some amazing pieces that will bombard the senses.

By presenting the Word of God through methods of worship, media, environment, and communication, we hope individuals increase in knowledge and understanding of God's Word.

Elevate offers a variety of places to share your talent:
  • vocal (soprano, alto, tenor, lead)
  • band (keys, acoustic guitar, rhythm electric guitar, lead electric guitar, bass guitar, drums)
  • tech (audio, lighting, screens)

Elevate holds auditions about twice a year.  It is in this process that we would love to meet you and begin to plug you into what we consider to be an amazing worship family. 

 

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT ::

Because of the amount of people who serve in Elevate Worship Ministry, there is a monthly rotation schedule created every month.  This rotation allows you to request off on an as needed basis as well as plan ahead with the knowledge of when you are scheduled for a specific service. 

We schedule for Sunday services, weekly services and special services.

Rehearsal is required for all participants.  Special event rehearsals are scheduled by event.  Sunday rehearsals and call times are as follows (with exception on holidays and special occasions):
  • Sunday Service Practice - Thursday night | vocals - 6:30pm to 8:30pm, band - 7:30 to 9:30pm
  • Sunday Service Call Time - Sunday morning at 7:45am

All music is made available to you as early as Tuesday the week before.  We use an online software system for all scheduling, posting music (mp3's and charts) as well as email correspondence.  This allows us to keep everything in a single location and makes a very user friendly experience for all of our worship family members.  You can even set the notices to go directly to your cell phone.


Elevate Worship Family understands the importance of relationships and we meet once a month for a Family Meeting and get together periodically for Family Fun Nights.
